Kheti Bazar is a place where people post farm produce to sell or buy and farm machines to rent, and contact each other directly by phone or WhatsApp.

We do not buy, sell, own, store, deliver or inspect anything posted, and we are not a party to any deal. Each deal is between the buyer and the seller (or the owner and the renter), who are responsible for the quality, quantity, price, payment, delivery and safety of what they agree.

• You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding agreement under Indian law.
• Your account is for you. Log in with your own mobile number, keep your phone and login codes (OTP) to yourself, and tell us at once if someone else uses your account.
• Give true details about yourself, and keep them up to date.

• Post only produce or machines you have, or genuinely want, with a true description, price, quantity and place, and your own photos (or photos you have the right to use).
• Add a contact person only with their permission.
• Every post is checked by our team before it shows. We may turn a post down, ask you to change it, or take it down, if it breaks these terms or the law.
• You keep the rights to what you post. You let us show it, and resize and store it, on Kheti Bazar and in sharing links, for as long as it is on Kheti Bazar.

• Anything illegal to sell or rent in India, such as banned pesticides or seeds, wildlife or its parts, drugs, weapons or stolen goods.
• Anything false or misleading, including fake prices, fake photos or pretending to be someone else.
• Anything obscene, hateful, threatening or harassing, harmful to children, or that insults anyone for their religion, caste, gender or community.
• Anything that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights, or shares someone’s personal details without their consent.
• Software viruses, attempts to break or overload Kheti Bazar, or collecting other users’ details to spam or sell them.
• Asking for advance payments to cheat people, or any other fraud.

If you do, we may remove your posts and ads, suspend or close your account, and report you to the authorities where the law requires.

Most people are honest, but some cheat. See the produce or machine yourself before you pay, never pay an advance to hold a deal, meet in a public place, and never share an OTP or your bank details. Read our Safety tips. You deal with other users at your own risk; we are not responsible for what they do or for any loss from a deal.

You can block anyone, and report a post or a person from the app. We look at every report.

• Posting is free. Paid plans (to show a post longer or higher) and ads cost what the app shows before you pay, including GST. Payments go through Razorpay.
• If our team turns down a paid post or ad, you get the full amount back.
• If you delete a paid post while it waits for review, you get its price back as wallet points, less the charge the app shows before you delete. After it is approved, time left on a plan is not refunded.
• Wallet points can be used only on Kheti Bazar and expire 12 months after you get them. We remind you before they do. They cannot be exchanged for cash, except points you bought, when you delete your account.
• When you delete your account, the points you bought and have not used are refunded in money to the account linked to your registered mobile number, within 15 days of your request to delete it. Free and bonus points, such as rewards and offer points, end when the account is deleted and are not paid out.

Ads you place follow the same rules as posts, are checked before they run, and must be about your own business. Ads from others, including Google, are their responsibility; a link in an ad takes you to their page or app, not ours.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile > Delete account). It is deleted 30 days later; log in before then to keep it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we tell you why unless the law stops us.

We work to keep Kheti Bazar running and correct, but we provide it "as is". It may sometimes be unavailable or have mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from deals between users, from what users post, or from Kheti Bazar being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under Indian consumer law.

You agree to make good any loss we suffer because you broke these terms or the law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first and we will try to sort it out. If we cannot, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

We may change these terms. We update the date below and tell you in the app about important changes. If you keep using Kheti Bazar after a change, you accept the new terms.

We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. A complaint about a post that shows someone without their clothes, or pretends to be them, is acted on within 24 hours.
