These rules say what you can post on Kheti Bazar and how, so your post is approved quickly and buyers trust it. They are part of our Terms of use, and the same rules apply to ads. Kheti Bazar runs Kheti Bazar (https://khetibazar.com).
1. What you can post
- Farm produce you have to sell: vegetables, fruits, grains and pulses, and the other categories the app offers.
- Livestock, dairy and farm equipment, where the app offers a category for them and the sale is legal where you are.
- What you want to buy (a Buy post), so sellers near you can contact you.
- Farm machines and tools you give on rent (a Rent post).
Anything else, such as land, jobs, loans or services other than renting a machine, cannot be posted.
2. How to write a good post
- Choose the right category and sub category.
- Photos: a Sell or Rent post needs at least 1 photo, up to 4. Use your own clear photos of the actual produce or machine, taken in daylight. The first photo is the cover. Buy posts may have no photo.
- Title: say what it is, for example "Fresh red onions, Nashik". Write only about this one item.
- Quantity and price: give the real quantity and a real price for each unit, or choose "Price on call". A price that cannot be right is turned down.
- Place: give the village or town where the produce can be picked up or the machine is. Others see only the village and the distance, never your exact address.
- Dates: say from when it is available, and for a machine on rent, until when.
3. Contact details
- Do not write a phone number, WhatsApp number, email or link in the title or description. Buyers call or WhatsApp you through the buttons on your post, which use the number you logged in with.
- To be reached on someone else's number, add them as the contact person in the post, and only with their permission.
4. One post per item, and keep it up to date
- Post each item once. Do not post the same thing again and again, or from several accounts.
- When it is sold or rented, mark it sold or delete it, so people do not call for something that is gone.
- For a machine on rent, keep its booked days up to date.
5. What is not allowed
- Anything illegal to sell or rent in India.
- Banned or unregistered pesticides, fertilisers or seeds, and seeds that are not approved for sale.
- Wild animals or birds, or their parts, and any animal whose sale is banned or restricted in your state.
- Drugs and narcotic plants, such as cannabis or opium poppy.
- Weapons, stolen goods, and fake or copied brands.
- Food that is spoiled or mixed with something it should not contain.
- False or misleading posts: fake photos, prices or quantities, produce you do not have, or pretending to be someone else.
- Rude, hateful, threatening or adult content, or anything that insults anyone for their religion, caste, gender or community.
- Someone else's photos or personal details without their permission.
- Asking for an advance payment to hold a deal, or any other way of cheating people.
6. How we check posts
Every post and every change to it is checked by our team before it shows, paid or free. We check that the photos show what is posted, the category fits, the price is believable, the description can be read, there is no contact number or link in the text, nothing is prohibited, and it is not a repeat of another of your posts.
If we turn a post down, we tell you why. Change it and send it again. A paid post that is turned down gets its full price back (see our Refund and cancellation policy).
7. Reports, and what happens if the rules are broken
Anyone can report a post as fake, wrongly priced, in the wrong category, not allowed, spam, offensive, or already sold. We look at every report.
- A post that breaks these rules is taken down.
- If you break them again, or break them badly, we may stop you posting, or suspend or close your account.
- Where the law requires, we report it to the authorities.
8. Changes to these rules
We may change these rules as Kheti Bazar grows. We update the date below; a post approved before a change is checked again only if it is changed or reported.
